South America Summer 2022
The Calling of Evangelism
South America was such a blast! Enjoyed it! Everywhere we visited, we saw many healings, miracles, and salvation. In fact, on one crusade night in Lima, Peru, we saw so many people miraculously healed instantly down the prayer line. Several with leg and arm issues, bad backs, deaf ears, blind eyes, and many other things. One extraordinary miracle was a mute young boy that some missionary friends brought to me for prayer. His mother said he had never spoken in his life. I walked up to the young man smiling at him. I gently shook his hands and asked him a question. What is your name? He quickly replied my name is Ricardo. Then he started to laugh and cry that he could speak now. Praise God! I would have to say that the faith in Lima, Peru was extraordinarily high, making miracles easy to work.
God did so many special miracles. One thing I started doing on this tour was when people came up for healings for flat feet; because there were many, I would have them sit on the stage with shoes and socks off. I would tell them to wait for me. After I worked the healing line for a while, I would check on them. Arches would appear even before I got back to them. In one service in Argentina, I even placed deformed feet on the stage. God healed them all!
In Argentina, I traveled to the center or heart of Argentina and then up to the north near the border of Bolivia. Most of it by tour bus 8 to 12-hour trips or cars for 3 to 4 hours at a time. In every service, we saw a great move of healing and salvation. One incredible night's service in Buenos Aires, Argentina, seemed like a steel cage match. More than a thousand people were in attendance, singing, and dancing, expecting a miracle. During prayer time, we had to use all the ushers to form a barrier between the altar and themselves to funnel the charging crowd through for prayer. I would wait at the end of the line to lay hands on them from the stage. That night God moved powerfully when I did the altar call; more than 400 crashed the altar area to receive Jesus. Afterward, while I was resting in the back, the pastor complimented me, saying I did a great job using my evangelist gift. I know my gifts are healing, miracles, signs, and wonders, but it all comes down to my evangelical calling. I have been called to be an Evangelist! This I have known since I was a child. But now, to see the calling mixed with the gifts is amazing! Having an evangelist call is humbling. I do my part for the body. It's a beautiful calling to have to see many saved, healed, and delivered.
On a month's journey to Peru, Chile, and Argentina, I learned that I needed to fundraise better than I did for this trip. Being away from the United States banking system and the ease of online transfers made it challenging to get money back home when I needed it. The Argentina peso began to fall immediately as I entered the country, going down every day until I left. I had needs coming in back home, and thankfully, a couple of friends helped me with a blessing. I learned I am a gifted evangelist but not the greatest fundraiser. So I need to figure out this part of the ministry better. I hope to encourage people with my reports and social media posts. Also, I would like to see people respond with gifts to help me further the ministry. As I said, I am not the best fundraiser so I may be missing something here. I think one thing that needs to change is my mindset. I used to hate asking anyone to sponsor or pay for anything in the past. I always felt like I was bugging or burdening them. But I believe in what God has called me to do. This past month was powerful with many healings and salvations where ever we visited. I genuinely think this ministry, David Yanez Ministries, is worth investing in monthly.
Here are trips planned that we still have needs for that you can help by donating online at www.davidyanezministries.com or sending a gift.

2018 Mexico Spring and Fall
Amazing miracles happened in Mexico. Over 50 people eyes were healed from prescription glasses. A powerful miracle of a young girl scoliosis healed whom I prayed for in the Spring. Her mother showed us x-rays of proof of this miracle in the Fall.
2018 Kenya Summer
In the Summer of 2018 during our Healing & Miracle Crusade we held a soccer tournament for youth 10-12 years old. Over 500 youth from 5- 10 kilometers away participated in the week long tournament. We were able to share the good news of Christ along with snacks and beverages. Before the final game we had a 20 minute session of ministering the gospel where 450 kids gave their hearts to Jesus.
About 160 of the kids were from the local area asking us to teach them the bible. Today we have a special service partnering with Bishop Sammy from Divine Destiny Church. We sponsor their tea and snack every Sunday morning before service.
We also sponsor the meals for 10 children to Divine Destiny Church's school. All this from a soccer tournament!

Two Trips to Kenya Within Six Months

This past year we had two great mission trips to Kenya. In August we visited Serve International as guest to Bishop Paul Ligano Kissumu, Kenya. We were able to see the large work this ministry has been doing for more than 20 years and participate in ministering to many hundreds of people.
In December we ministered to a ground breaking work we started in Nairobi, Kenya. We are blessed to have such a great partner in Bishop Paulo Guata from Nairobi. He help organized our first pastors conference and crusade in Kenya. Our crusade was the healed in a community where people came to salvation from bars, business's and homes. In fact over the three nights many came each night after hearing songs, testimonies and preaching to give their hearts back to Jesus. We are now helping plant a church in a new area where we will be back in August to hold pastor's conference and crusade.

5 Years of Missions in Orissa, India
Our missions ministry has been back to India for the sixth time in the last 5 years with great God given success! We are planning a trip back every year into new territories of Orissa State. Orissa is the most dangerous un-reached area of India. Thousands of Christian's were persecuted in 2008 and hundreds of homes and churches destroyed. Since 1993 I have been a part of reaching Orissa including building one of the largest Bible Colleges in the world graduating 1,000 pastors a year.
God is opening doors for us very quickly on every trip. We have been invited to several other parts of India including Andra Pradesh and Hydrabad. While we look at those areas for future visits our heart is for Orissa. Mainly because of the many millions who have yet to hear the Gospel for the first time. During our last trip it became known that my ministry team was the first Americans to visit a certain tribal area with the Gospel. Each service was packed with people wanting the touch of the Lord on their lives. Many people were healed, saved and delivered during our ministry services. We also have many Hindu and Muslim converts in our events. In fact during the one trip in we had dozens of Hindu's ask us permission to attend our healing service that we had in a small house. Many of those Hindu's were healed and received the Lord. On my last few days ministering in villages we had a home filled with Hindu's and Muslim's asking us to pray for their healing. God did move and many received their healing! |
Many people have asked me the same question since we have made it known that we concentrate on healing services while ministering in India. That question is, "Wheres the Fruit?" They have all said if you don't do pastors conferences you can't create growth. I will tell you what I shared with them which is completely true. We have a huge infrastructure of India Bible College Graduates that assist us in training converts and churches. With that support system we have planted 70 churches, 2 Children's Homes for 80 children and a feed ministry. Thousands have came to Jesus and many more thousands have been healed! God is good and faithful.
This next trip in December will have six cities and villages around India holding ministry healing services. This trip will 3 pastors conferences, several healing services and 8 crusade nights. The healing ministry is becoming are predominant vehicle to reach entire cities & villages. This type of ministry takes a lot prayer to be effecitve against the strongholds in the area. Please pray that God will continue to bless us and protect us to reach the unreached for Him! His protection is greatly needed anytime we step out in faith in a foreign country where there are religious radicals. |
